Shido's Palace manifests as an enormous cruise ship sailing through a flooded Tokyo, reflecting his belief that Japan should bow to his ambitions while the masses drown. This is the longest and most complex palace, requiring five letters of introduction from Shido's cognitive allies. The Phantom Thieves must disguise themselves as ship passengers to infiltrate. This palace tests all your skills and party composition.
Each palace contains 3 Will Seeds. Collecting all 3 combines them into a powerful accessory. Bring them to Jose in Mementos to upgrade them further.
In the restaurant area of the ship. After obtaining the first letter of introduction, check the side dining hall behind the kitchen.
In the pool deck area. Near the mid-ship entertainment zone, look for a maintenance hatch below the main deck.
In the engine room section. Before entering the central assembly hall, explore the lower engineering deck for a sealed door.
Shadow Shido has multiple phases. In the first phase, he fights with his beast form and is weak to Psychic. In the second phase, he takes a winged form weak to Nuclear. In the third phase, he becomes a muscular humanoid with no weaknesses, but is vulnerable to debuffs. Finally, his true form uses Almighty attacks. Keep your party at full health, maintain buffs (Matarukaja, Marakukaja) and debuffs (Tarunda, Rakunda) at all times. This is an endurance fight, so conserve SP and items throughout.
You need five letters of introduction. Each requires infiltrating a different section of the ship.
The mini-boss fights for each letter can be tough. Make sure your team is well-equipped.
Bring a variety of personas. The boss has multiple phases with different weaknesses.
SP management is critical. Equip SP-restoring accessories and bring Soma or SP Adhesive items.
This is the climactic palace of the base game. The boss fight is long, so be prepared for endurance.
