Futaba's Palace is unique because Futaba herself is the ruler, and the Phantom Thieves enter to help her confront her distorted cognition rather than to steal a treasure from a villain. The palace takes the form of an ancient Egyptian pyramid filled with traps, puzzles, and sand-based mechanics. After completing this palace, Futaba joins as the team's navigator.
Each palace contains 3 Will Seeds. Collecting all 3 combines them into a powerful accessory. Bring them to Jose in Mementos to upgrade them further.
In the early corridors of the pyramid. After the first pitfall trap area, check the side passage behind the sarcophagus room.
In the mid-level chambers. Near the large chamber with the moving platforms, look for a hidden alcove accessible from the upper walkway.
Near the apex of the pyramid. Before the final puzzle room, explore the burial chamber to the east for a concealed door.
This is a unique boss fight. Cognitive Wakaba flies above the arena and is immune to all attacks while airborne. Use the ballista (prompted during the fight) to shoot her down. Once grounded, she is weak to Wind. Unleash everything you have during this window. She will use Sphinx Dive for heavy damage, so guard when prompted. Futaba will provide support during the fight with healing and buffs once she awakens to her Persona.
This palace is story-heavy. Pay attention to the narrative for context on Futaba's character.
Watch for floor traps and pitfalls. Some paths lead to dead ends or back to earlier rooms.
The anubis enemies here are strong against Bless and Curse. Bring Physical and elemental attackers.
Stock up on SP-restoring items. The palace is long and SP management is crucial.
After clearing this palace, Futaba becomes your navigator with powerful support abilities.
