Cheerful and energetic shadows that enjoy humor and playful interactions. They respond best to jokes and lighthearted answers.

Response Effectiveness

• 01.Shadows only negotiate when you have the advantage (Hold Up after hitting all weaknesses or getting a critical hit on all enemies).
• 02.If a shadow's HP is low, they may offer to negotiate on their own and give you items or money.
• 03.The personality type is tied to the shadow species, not the individual encounter. Learn which shadows have which personalities.
• 04.If you fail a negotiation, the shadow gets angry and the Hold Up ends. You lose the opportunity to do an All-Out Attack.
• 05.Rank 3 of the Councillor (Maruki) confidant gives you a second chance if negotiation fails.
• 06.You must be at or above the shadow's level to recruit it. If you're underleveled, ask for money or items instead.
• 07.In Persona 5 Royal, shadows can sometimes give you a persona you already have as a skill card instead.
